Hello, anyone experienced any metal
corrosion on their Chanel hardware? Particularly greenish type of corrosion? Since we’re in a pandemic I don’t get to use my bags, but of course they are kept well with dehumidifiers and silica gels inside etc. Anyway, just last week I checked my bags and saw my Chanel Classic flap had this greenish mark, I immediately wiped it with a qtip with baking soda and a drop of water (like a paste) and immediately it was gone. I don’t have problems with my other chanel bags, only on this one —my classic flap. And previously I tried cleaning the chain with a soft dry cloth the coating of the hardware got removed, but the gold remained. I just got shocked and don’t know what happened. I just kept it and now the green-ish rust♀ Any thoughts and opinions are much appreciated.
