Just to add another tidbit of info to stir the pot a little...

Hermes is coming out with ombre effect exotic Birkins in other colors in the near future (think purple, blue, etc. ombre)

To the best of my knowledge Hima is no longer offered. If anyone has bought an A stamp Hima directly from H I would be interested to hear.

I saw a lady buy a brand new Himalayan Birkin about 2 months ago at the San Francisco Hermes store.

Yep, one was offered in my store last week. No idea what the stamp was as I am not looking for a Hima. So maybe it's rested, but it is still available.
