gray or cognac?

I think gray is more versatile than cognac, but maybe I'm envisioning the wrong color for cognac...If I were looking for something for going out on Saturday night I might try a more vibrant color than gray. Something that will catch attention and be the ultimate accessory. Maybe a metallic or a red/wine color.

I vote cognac. I think gray can be replaced with black in many instances. Cognac works with an entirely different set of colors.
