Grand Opening of the Short Hills Hermès Store

Hi Everyone - since COVID has struck, haven’t been doing a lot of in person shopping. Today however I ventured out to the grand opening of the new Hermès at the Short Hills Mall in NJ. They already had a store at this mall but they moved to a larger location.

I had tried to get in touch with an SA that I had worked with prior to make an appointment for today but came to find out she had left the store. With no appointment I figured I’d take my chances for a last minute appointment. Got there a little ahead of opening and got to see the ribbon cutting for the new store.

Once they came out to start appointments, I was told no openings until next week. The hosted then checked and with some magic, got me in. :biggrin:

The store looked very nice and much larger. Sorry didn’t get any pictures inside. They had an engraving booth set up, a booth to send a postcard from the store and an origami station to make different things including purses, Christmas trees and birds. All very touches.

The SA that assisted was very nice and helped me pick out my Picotin 18 in Vert Vertigo and a new rodeo.

Very happy I ventured out and was able to get a last minute appointment. :heart:
