My DH and I are considering this beautiful Graff ring which comes in WG or RG for anniversary wedding bands.

Our wedding bands are all platinum and I'm a little concerned about the longevity of this design. It has a gorgeous faceted, mirror polish look, but I'm wondering how it would look in a few years' with daily wear.
Does anyone have this piece or similar looking pieces in gold? I would love to hear from you and see how your rings have held up!
We are open to both RG and WG - is there any difference in maintenance outside of the rhodium plating?
My friend uses a jewellers rouge cloth to polish her YG cartier bracelet but she told me it won't work on WG - I tried to search but don't really understand why. Does anyone know? TIA!
