Hello everyone I am trying to decide what new LV to purchase. It’s been awhile since I have made a purchase. I saw the Odeon in person never tried it but was fascinated by how it looked super cute. I know the Graceful has also been around awhile.
I can’t decide between the two. Which would you pick and why? If anyone has pictures of theirs I would love to see.

Of the 2, probably the 2nd. More didtinctive and there are so many other LVs with a similar slouch to the first.

I’m on my second Graceful MM. I’ve carried it once (same with the first one). I love the look but it’s a bottomless pit and things get lost/can be hard to find without an organizer. I also have a hard time with it staying on my shoulder sometimes. But I’m not much of a shoulder-carry kind of gal.

Ive been toying with getting an Odeon PM. I think if I had to choose between the two I’d go with the Odeon. You can adjust the strap for shoulder or crossbody and the slip front pocket is convenient. I appreciate the versatility of the Odeon.

If I had to choose I would go with an Odeon.

I was choosing between the Graceful PM and the Odeon MM (they are more comparable in size). I ended up getting the Odeon MM in Nov 2022 because I thought the Graceful looks a bit dated, or at least it's been around too long. But with my Odeon MM I have only used it a handful of times.

Thoughts on the Odeon.
  1. It looks good. The zipper is buttery smooth, but getting in and out of the bag is still a chore because the teeth of the zippers still scratch my bracelet and ring.
  2. Capacity-wise the Odeon MM doesn't hold very much. Long wallet, iPhone ProMax, 6 key holder, masks, tissues, lipstick, and a pen. That's already weighing it down. I want to carry some paperwork, but it would have to be folded in half. And there's no room for much else.
  3. The black strap is comfortable, but I also purchased a 16 inch strap to make it a shoulder bag. So versatility in style is a plus.
  4. The bag is flat so it's a perfect crossbody bag, think mailman's bag, but then it doesn't hold a lot. I don't know how ppl buy the Odeon PM, except for its cuteness.
  5. A lot of YouTubers compare the Odeon to Pochette Metis. I have both. I prefer the Metis because getting in and out is easier.
If I were to do this again, I'd skip both. Because most ppl already have a big capacity bag in LV or Goyard or some other brand or non-brand. $3000 is not a small amount of money. In retrospect, I wish I used the $3000 towards another Chanel WOC in a different color. At least I use that quite a lot and carry it like a crossbody wallet that can fit a phone.

I looked at the Odeon MM but the shape doesn't work for me. I do have the Graceful PM and it's a fabulous bag. It fits just the right amount. I use it for every day and will often take it rather than a NF when traveling if the flight is shorter than 3 hours because it fits my iPad Pro and everything else I need.

I vote for the Odeon mm. I recently bought it and I luv it. I luv the front pocket it’s so convenient for ur phone. I switch the strap to a monogram strap for crossbody cuz I like a thinner strap. The opening is fine it’s bigger than a speedy 25 and I luv that’s it’s carefree.

I think your question is directed at me since I have so many gripes about the Odeon MM. No, I haven't sold it yet. I want to give it some time (a year or two) before I decide. The thing is, I researched a ton and fell in love with it on other ppl. Perhaps the right mood will strike me and I will realize it's such a perfect purchase after all.

I also had delayed enjoyment when it came to my Pochette Metis. It took me a year to fully love it. Now I love my Pochette Metis. I just wished the Odeon MM can fit a sweater or thin scarf on top, but as you know the profile gets narrower as it zips up, so no bulky items.
