Guys I'm really torn... I have the Chanel Soft Timeless Tote (large shopping) and I am returning it. The handles are too short and I just don't love it.

Now I'm torn between the Chanel GST (black) or the Goyard St. Louis PM (red). I can't decide!!!! ahhh.

I'm 5'1" but I like bigger bags and totes. I have a 10 month infant too if that means anything :smile1:

GTS all the way. I had my heart set on getting the St. Louis on my recent trip to Paris, but it failed to meet my expectations on every level once I saw it IRL, including the handles being too short. I tried the GTS and would have purchased it if they had it with SHW, but only had gold available, so had to pass. It is a lovely and much more functional bag.

Thank you! I have a baby too :) I'm almost tempted already to turn it into a mini diaper bag for those quick errands - just a couple of diapers and aquaphor all in a ziploc and another ziploc for the baby bottle with formula and water.

The slightly bigger alternative is my Neverfull MM.

I have a GST. I love it but it's heavy.

Awww. Best to check Fashionphile.com - I just saw quite a number of GSTs in preowned excellent condition. A lot of Purseforum members here buy from there :)

My SA said only certain colors are discontinued and we will be seeing some GST's here in the U.S. Again. GST's are avail in Europe now tho. Chanel corp. felt that the American market needs to branch out more and buy other styles so they basically took it away from us because it was one of our most popular bags.

Chanel 57th Street will put you on a wait list for GST, but will not tell you how long said wait list is. Could be years! I ended up buying a pre-loved off of Fashionphile, it's in great condition and I am very happy with it BUT it's the same price as a new one. For the same price I would have preferred brand new! :)

PS - I still plan on purchasing the Goyard Saint Louis. They are 2 very different bags.
