Goyard date code

Hello tpf friends,

I posted this in Goyard Chat but hoping to get more feedback..

Sorry for this question since this is my first Goyard. I both a Capetein MM by Distant Sale. The bag I got had the date code is ADM020206. If i am not mistaken, it means manufactured date is June2020. Is it normal to get a bag that is 1 year 10 months old?
I asked because with other brands like LV, datecode is within a few weeks of when I bought it.

People ask this is other designer forums, IMO yes it's normal. We've been through shut downs and shorter boutique hours. Merchandise sat for months without being sold, I've never looked at my codes in my Goyard items but I wouldn't think twice about the codes being a year or two prior to purchase.
