got rolex today

hi, i am excited because today my dh bought me a rolex for my birthday. . i ended up with a everose datejust with the black dial that has rolex spelled out with diamond markers.i don't really know alot about rolex .i just looked at them and drooled before and never thought i would get one in this life. i don't get to wear it until friday which is my b-day.we paid $8500.00 is that the going price? we are not wealthy and i don't have a big diamond ring or anything but i have a rolex.

Diamond marker Rolex's are quite expensive....but the price is dependent on many factors........condition, authenticity etc.....
