I was so happy to find this bag, gently used (which I usually don't do) but it seemed to be in great condition and a great price. When I got the bag I was disappointed to find it poorly packaged. No tissue inside, no cushioning. The box was a small so she had to fold the handles down to use it and it was a tight fit. If left pretty deep handle imprints on front and back from being squeezed in with handles down and no protective layer between the handle and the bag. I am really bummed about it, but otherwise the bag is pristine. Do you think the handle imprints will come out with use? And if I keep the bag stuffed with tissue between use? You can see the dings more IRL but here are pics. I am so tired of eBay sellers who cannot take the time add a couple layers of tissue which would have prevented an issue like this. It is getting to the point where I feel I need to ask them what size box and packing materials they use

Heating it up with a hairdryer, then stuffing it full while the leather is still warm may help to get rid of the imprint of the handles. If the seller shoved the bag in too small of a box, a couple of layers of tissue would not have prevented the indentations. I always request bags be shipped stuffed with tissue or paper, handles up & inside it's dust bag to prevent this kind of thing from happening during shipping. I don't know why sellers don't take the time to put a purse in a properly sized box.:cursing:

I returned a Collection Lexi yesterday & I shipped it back better than it was shipped to me. I shipped with the same tissue & paper that came with it in it's dustbag & the handles up so as not to press against the sides but I also included bubble wrap surrounding the bag to cushion it during transit. It's not hard; just takes a little thought.

I had an LV canvas bag that in storage the handles flipped over and left an imprint, but when I sold it on eBay I disclosed that....and the LV store said that with the canvas bags the imprint would go away with use. I even emailed the buyer to make sure she saw the imprint disclosure before I shipped it to her. I know it costs more money to sell bags and ship in larger boxes and proper wrapping, and unfortunately eBay fees are so high, but it's still should be the cost of doing business so to speak. Bubble wrap is not that expensive. I have asked sellers if they plan to ship in Priority Mail boxes (which is often too small to accomodate) but now I am going to make a point of asking about other packaging practices. Like you I always wrap my bags, handles, hardware to the nines. I will try the hair dryer method, had not thought of that, thanks! After seeing your Malachite bag, I had to go on the hunt for one :)

Did heating the leather & stuffing it help???
