but why the leatehr seems so fade? is it common for a lilac to turn like this?

yes, i wonder if it's the lighting, because the bag looks pristine and new...
only the colour is weird. on the patches, it's darker

I just looked on mine and the leather banding is slightly a different color too~ like that.
