Don't feel badly, we can all relate. Oftentimes it's not until you actually get to see/touch/feel/use a bag that you can determine if it will work for you.

We've all been there and will be again.......it's part of the fun......the search!

I get it. You see the bag online or in magazines and think that it will be perfect. Once you see it in person, it's a complete letdown.

I felt that way about the Chanel flap. Saw it in store and on an actual person. I soon realized that it wasn't my style. I ended up with a Chanel just not that one.

Many of my bags are mulberry--so have goldy postman locks. ;)
No porridge spilled onto them. Yet.
May have 3 teddy bears. :)

For me, an "assortment" solves size issues.
And different social occasion/outfit issues.
As well as hiking through mud, but must carry stuff, issues.

Assortment = several bags, different sizes & purposes.
Otherwise known as, "collection."
Except I use mine. Probably in a far too cavalier way to be called sensible. :D

Well said silly! I have a good assortment for various needs and try to make sure that each bag is special...at least to me because no one else matters (or cares quite frankly) which bag I carry!

Couple of satchels, couple of cross bodys, tote, my holy grail bag is on it's way which I'll show off when it gets here....can't wait!

Agreed--few understand our bag giddiness & grief. Glad for tpf.
