Gold flats - go with everything or nothing?

I wear my metallic flats all the time, especially my silver revas and metallic Lanvins (I have those shiny gold patent ones too)! In the spring/summer especially, I rarely wear my black flats... they're just too heavy for light, summery colors, whereas metallics are perfect AND neutral.

A gold shoe can either complement your outfit (say, you're wearing earth tones, warm colors, etc. and it just goes) or add a pop! If you wear jeans/black/navy/neutral colors, the gold will be fabulous... don't listen to your SO haha! Wear them and enjoy them!

I matched my gold flats with most colours other than the usual white. It's just how you work it out.
