I ordered a gold bead bracelet from Mejuri. I’m not really happy with the quality of the chain or clasp under the beads. Does anyone have a suggestion? I’m looking for a 3 or 4mm to wear with this NaHoku bracelet. I don’t want to spend the money for the Tiffany one. I’m thinking $500 or under.

I noticed rolled gold ball jewellery available through this Australian website.

Really pretty! I am hoping for solid gold (not that the beads have to be solid, but not gold plated on other metal).

Yeah I hear you vs the solid vs rolled gold but then it occurred to me that the item might be stronger with a base metal less likelihood of denting etc of course it is always nicer to go for the premium product but depending on the occasion you might not want to spend for that.

Good point. I think that might be less of an issue with tiny beads, though. At least that’s what I hope!

I agree.
Gold Filled, per jewelers, is considered as real gold, and will not turn or tarnish vs, Gold plated will tarnish at some point.

May I suggest Karen Lazar Design. I own several of her bracelets and wear them 24/7. They are relatively inexpensive and come in a wide range of sizes. I have purchased these for family members and they too wear them all day every day.

I just bought this one from an Etsy seller and think it’s perfect. I haven’t taken it off since I’ve gotten it. I asked for a custom length of 6 3/4” and the seller was very accommodating. She also offers different size beads as well as different style beads but they are 14k solid yellow gold not gold filled or gold plated. It has a very substantial lobster clasp with a little dangling charm.

Oh! I’m glad you replied. I actually looked at hers. She uses a stainless bead wire under the beads, which I thought was kind of unusual. Can you see it at all? It looks beautiful here.

No I cannot see the wire at all. I have had it for a little over a week so can’t speak to how it will wear over time yet. But for the price I paid (a little over $300) I think it’s a great piece.

Thank you for this suggestion! I decided to save money and pick up one of these gold filled bracelets. I’m really happy with the look. I think next time I’ll order just a little larger, but, for the price, this works out well!
(Also I used the extra money towards buying a purse…:yahoo:)
