Go to Paris to look at leathers etc. for special order even if SO is from another store?

Stupid question maybe.
I’m new here and I have tried to locate a thread like this but cannot find any. I also hope I’m in the right category...

I’m wondering if anyone knows if your home-store offers you a SO, can your store make an appointment for you in Paris to look at leathers, HW etc.? Or you can only look at the leathers etc. in Paris if you are offered a SO in that store?

I think the experience is more special in the Paris store so it would totally be worth the travel.

Ps. I’m so amazed over how nice and welcoming everyone is in here. You are all so lovely [emoji177]

Only there you can view the so process kit
Yes many people want so in paris
However it's not easy to get one
Refer to the so thread if you really keen
Spend time reading
You'll have more ideas

If I was an SA in Paris, I would not be too happy to spend hours entertain someone who weren't going to be placing orders. Just a thought. The SO trunks are all the same in all stores and it would be so much easier to work with an SA you already know in your home store, no?

Paris also works in a different universe. Some things are allowed while the whole world says no. Enjoy placing your SO.

I was close to the deadline of submitting SO and was traveling. I took a little detour to a store and asked to see the kit. The SA showed to me and gave nice suggestions. I do not think she was "happy" because it's kinda wasting her time. But there was no other customers as well. I pretty much knew what I would like to have so did not take more than 20 minutes.
I guess it does not hurt to ask and if you did your homework well to ask to see specific combo, it helps too. Have fun!
