I have been wearing them in misty weather and they have held up very well. They are slightly higher than my typical boots but are comfortable and dressy enough to wear for business meetings. They stretch to put on and off but have not stretched out.
Thanks for your feedback and glad to hear it has held up well. Did you get the 60 or the 90?

Anyone had a chance to try on these shoes? They looks very practical and kind of edgy.
Yes, yesterday! I was in love with them from the website. The toes pinched and the heel was too wide, and sadly they did not have the next size up in stock to determine if it was just a sizing issue (the pair I tried on were a half size down from what I usually wear). The SA brought out 1 full size up which was absolutely enormous, and the higher shaft version of the same boot which seemed to run completely differently. I am really tempted to order from the website but the sizing seemed really inconsistent. Oddly, the SA assured me these were completely out of stock across the entire country when I asked her about sourcing the 37.5 from another store or online for me to try on, but the website has almost all sizes in stock. This was at Madison Ave, I have to find time to go down to Meatpacking to see what their inventory is like.

After a month, I tried to pass the brake-in period, and get used to the high heels 2.8”. I finally would love to announce the Saint-Germain ankle Boots: Boots of the year. I love them so much. I can wear them all day.
I have the suede version and they remain comfortable throughout the whole day in the office (standing at my desk!). One of my best shoe purchases ever.

+1 I have calf leather.
I thought I had bought a half size too small, but they are still very comfortable for standing and walking. The last is a very good fit for my foot, so it doesn’t feel too high at all.

Has anyone started wearing their Veo boots? I am thinking of getting a pair but not sure how comfortable they are for walking and whether the leather can withstand wet weather. Any feedback would be really useful. Thanks!

I bought a pair of Veo boots and did get them in my regular size. (Love them!) They are very comfortable and because of the thicker sole, are a bit sturdier and better for walking than my Neo boots. I personally won’t be purposely wearing them out in the rain because as far as I know they are not waterproof, although normal use is fine. For outdoors and horse shows and places I know will be mucky I like Ariat paddock boots, but H also has nice ones on the website under “Equestrian.”

just out of curiosity: has the joueuse boots been discontinued and replaced with the st germaine? are they essentially the same boots, except the latter being of lower price because the heel is not leather- covered? i love my joueuse and thought of getting another color but only saw the st germaine now..

Hi lovely TPFers,

i am currently looking for a pair of H boots which I can wear on a rainy/snowy day.. any recommendations?

Any input would be appreciated..TIA
If you are looking for booties, I just got Kross Women training boots and have been wearing them all day. They’re comfortable for walking and waterproof. Look nice with skirt and edgy with jean too. :drinks:I don’t wear jean but I saw someone with these boots in a rainy day. ;)
