Givenchy exotic small Antigona to buy or not to?

This is a stunning bag. Sure to make a statement each time it is worn. However, if you have hesitation, it is not the one for you. A bag that is as impactful as this one has to be LOVE. You cannot question your decision.

Hi hrhsunshine, do you think the exotic skin on this will peel or lift up? This is the same style I purchased last week and now I'm worried it will be super high maintenance. Any advice on how to care for this? Thanks so much! :flowers:

Unfortunately, I cannot give you any care advice on snakeskin. I have heard of scales flaking off but I don't know if that eventually happens to all snakeskin products. I would advise you consult online and with an exotic leather specialist. I have read that exotic skins require special care which is different from the typical leathers. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

I really like the bag...and one would hope that any issue with the handle would have been considered before Givenchy decided to make the bag. Did you purchase the bag from a retailer that will stand behind the purchase? If so, you have no risk...carry the bag and see, if the handle is an issue you can return the bag.

If it's a dilemma for you, then that is a key warning sign. Don't pressure yourself into loving it & keeping it if there are other Antigona bags you'd rather have.

I have seen this in person and yes, it's lovely but there are many other Antigonas (small or med) that would be much higher on my priority list but that's just me. Don't pressure yourself - she's not the last one.

Hi again. I've owned this bag for a month now and haven't taken it out once! I still don't want to part with it for a couple of reasons. I got a great deal and it's so unique to me. Sometimes I think I would prefer an antigona in black or another neutral tone. But then again, I love dressing more edgy and think this is a really cool style. What's a girl to do?

I sometimes find I'm afraid to take out a new purchase, but once I do, I can't stop wearing it. So maybe force yourself to take it out and see how it feels? :biggrin:
