Give away Pochette NM?

Hi!
I was able to get the newest PA NM in monogram canvas.
The one with The slightly longer strap and chip on the inside.
I got it for 600 euros, before the recent price increase.

I was thinking of selling this one and buying the lvxuf Pochette, the black an white one.
I know that the brown classic monogram is Iconic but I am kinda scared to wear the bag.
I don’t want the gold to rub off I fear it so much. Because it reminds me of those people with their fake LV bags and the chipped off gold hardware.

The lvxuf Pochette seems so much more “carefree” and has silver hardware. Also, it looks pretty cool in real life, looks kinda 3D.

I need your opinion though, what should I do?
What is smart? I like both, I just need help, or should I just wear the classic one?
Any care tips?

Personally I prefer the classic monogram. The hardware will chip eventually but it can be replaced. They’ll change the zipper pull for free. Just inspect whatever you do decide on, because there may be other quality issues.

I meant to add — the monogram Pochette should hold its value better too, if that’s something you are concerned about in the future.

I agree with everything @boyoverboard said. I also think it's more durable than you might think! Use it and enjoy it.

I also would pick the monogram one. The lvxuf Pochette doesn't look carefree at all. It's white and I would constantly worry about it getting dirty. I don't think you need to worry about the gold rubbing off on the monogram. It will happen of course, but it mostly happens at rub points where metal touches metal - those aren't really areas people see. You will notice it, but believe me, no one else is going to be so in your business that they will be examining your bag like that. Plus you can always get it replaced if it gets too bad.

Agree with everyone above. I would pick mono.. It’s classic and I think more durable.

The gold hardware wear is minimal and barely noticeable after 6 years for me. And can be replaced. And as the others pointed out perfectly, if you want carefree, the UF will be a nightmare. The white canvas is even more delicate than than Azur, and the tuffetage is literally like plush, it will be a magnet for dirt and dust. I wish all the leather parts would be removable, so we can put it into the washing machine.
It is still not a bad bag, but it is clearly a collector's piece to be worn only on occasions. The Monogram can be used daily without worry.

I agree with everyone. The canvas is very carefree and there is so little vachetta that I wouldn’t worry about it. I have an OM PA from 2003 still going strong. Only problem is the original strap split in the middle. The Hardware isn’t perfect but its so small you can’t tell from any distance. Use and enjoy! Esp with the price increases and limited availability, I would t give up the mono even if you decide to get the LE.

I have both. If you can only have one you should keep the monogram. The LVXUF isn't carefree. Every time I wear the LVXUF I worry about the white getting color transfer/dirty and the puffy areas getting smashed. I love it but it is absolutely NOT a worry free bag. The monogram is a VERY worry free little bag and will look fantastic for years even with frequent use. The LVXUF is a bag that I only carry occasionally due to the things I listed.

I have both too and I agree with everyone above.
To me the gold hardware of the PA is so little, that I almost couldn’t noticed it ever existed
If you only want to keep one and looking for a carefree bag, then mono PA is a better choice
