The pair, 18 and 25, have been canoodling for a few weeks,*reports E! News.
They were hanging out in*Coachella*and were flirting lots, a source told the site. They have many things in common and really enjoyed each others company. She loves his music as well. They are hanging out for sure now.
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, closed out the popular outdoor festival in April.
A second insider revealed The Weeknd and Hadid may have been dating longer than we know.
They had met each other before Coachella, but thats where they really clicked, said the source. Its still new.
Despite their romance still being fresh, theyve ventured out on double dates of sorts.
They reportedly spent time with Hadids older sister,*Gigi, and her boyfriend*Cody Simpson*as well as*Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger*before their relationship ended,*shares*Us Weekly.

Along with Kendall Jenner, the model, fresh from her split from Cody Simpson, put on a cosy display with the racing driver at the Monaco Grand Prix, as he placed his arms tenderly around her.
It's little wonder Lewis appears to be rather taken with the model, who looked incredible in a nude crop top and high waisted white trousers.

Lewis, 30, has just signed a £100million new three year deal with Mercedes but failed to make it to victory on Sunday when he was defeated during the Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, he and Gigi were pictured enjoying one another's company at the Cinema Against AIDS gala for amfAR at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday by wearing a Tom Ford creation.
The budding romance between the pair soon became the talk of Cannes. MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Gigi and Lewis for comment.

Palestinian/Dutch is an interesting mix! Yolanda and Mohammed certainly produced some very attractive kids.
I don't find Bella beautiful, but Gigi on the other hand is extraordinarily beautiful.

At times I think Gigi looks beautiful (depends on her make-up), but then for the most part she looks so plain and I can't understand her being a model.
Bella isn't attractive IMO, but then she looks much better in professional photos. Neither sister are model material, again- IMO.
