My grandmother is extremely ill and we are unsure how long she has left. My mom is devastated to say the least. She has been through a lot over the last few years including battling cancer and coping with my grandma's deteriorating health. I want to get my mom a gift to know I am thinking of her during this difficult time. Please help me decide between these three tiffany items. I will be making the purchase today. My mom loves chunky jewelry.

I like the circles pendant best. She can wear it whenever without being cautious of it like a bracelet, and I like the symbolism of interlocking circles. So sorry to hear about your grandmother, and so thoughtful of you to want to give your mom a gift. :hugs:

Without knowing more about your mum and her personal preferences, I, too, like the interlocking circles pendant. I think it could be very symbolic at this trying time in her life, and you are a very thoughtful daughter to consider such beautiful things to gift her with.

Etk123 and Hautemama I agree that the interlocking necklace is probably the best choose. I had originally choosen it for it design but after looking at it more closely I noticed there are four interlocking circles which truly meaningful. They could represent the four generation (past and present) of women (my maternal great-grandmother, my maternal grandmother, my mom and myself). My mother was very close to her maternal grandmother who played a large role in her upbringing. My mother and I are also very close. So I think the necklace will be perfect. Thank you for the kind words and help.

that's so kind of you, I sympathize as I went through similar circumstances too! I also gave my mom something special and meaningful. Looking at the options, i like the circle pendant, I think it looks pretty and elegant. maybe each of the circles can have a significant meaning when you give it to your mom?

I too like the circle pendant, but after hearing the meaning behind it I think this is a beautiful sentiment!

Update: The necklace arrived today. I took my mom out to lunch with my 9 month old. During lunch I gave her the necklace. She was so shocked and absolutely loved the necklace. She was so surprised and happy, it made my day. Thank you to everyone who help me decide. She loved the symbolism and put it on immediately. Ill post a pic of her wearing it when she comes home from the hospital.
