Hi lovely ladies!!

I thought I would just take a moment to share a little something I picked up on Wednesday (can't show you the real ones because they are currently wrapped up :D)

http://www.tiffany.com.au/Shopping/...7464-r+160323352-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t&fromgrid=1

I bought these as a gift to my brother's fiance :hugs: They are getting married in May and I wanted to get her a little something to welcome her to the family.

The stock photos don't do these pearls justice, they were absolutely stunning in store: Akoya, 6.5-7mm, such beautiful lustre and the best part (Ha, I'm so shallow :shame:) is that they come in the proper Tiffany's velvet box - not the little blue suede pouch!!

I'm not sure how many T&Co boxes she will be given in her life (they just bought a house and I think kids will be next on the agenda :graucho:) so I was thrilled to be able to give her a pair of earrings in the proper box :D

My brother came with me and checked the size so I'm pretty confident they're something she'll wear everyday and not feel like saving for special occasions - she is very modest in her jewellery taste (unlike blingy old me :p) and I wanted to make sure it was in line with her aesthetic. I know she loves pearls though and my mum gave her a very delicate pearl ring from her own collection as a gift to celebrate their engagement (not the engagement ring though, he got her a beautiful diamond for that).

Do you guys like them? I just think brides and pearls and celebration and weddings...it's all sort of good, you know?? :D

Lovely! I think the gift is perfect and very appropriate!! The fact that your Mother gave your soon-to-be sister-in-law a pearl ring makes the pearl earrings even more suitable!!

Pearls are a great gift for a bride : ). I gave my SIL a pair of pearl earrings too, just before her wedding a few years ago (though not from Tiffany) & she wore them on her wedding day!

Bitten, you are wonderful, and the earrings are beautiful, and I wish you were my sister-in-law! What a great thing to do for your brother's bride.
