no.. I live in Okinawa.. the nearest one is on the mainland..which is quite far...I wish there was one near me but then again I'd probably be in real trouble then

I'm discovering something here.. I just looked more closely at the Babel which frankly was my top choice and wouldn't you know.. it has birds on it!!!!
Why oh why must there be birds on all of the scarves I want???

I think I found a good one.. I'm not sure what it's called but it's on the site and it looks like acrobats with ribbons and it has the contrasting hem .. Do you ladies know what it's called?

I like the angel-winged one posted earlier and champagne coloured scarves are just TDF. White and beige goes with almost every colour (except pastels), if not especially brown and black (which you mentioned that she wears a lot). I like the mini cowboys on this one:

My vote goes to the Decoupage. It's a lovely design and that colourway with the oranges and purples should pin you mum's tastes from what you described!
