GI Diet?

  1. Has anyone on here tried the GI diet and if so, what was it like?

    I have been following the cambridge diet and have lost 78lbs so far, but since my gallbladder removal operation I have been told that I am not allowed to go back onto the cambridge diet for 3 months and I am panicking that I may fall back into my old ways of eating.

    I am thinking of trying to do my own version of a GI diet using low GI foods but I want to know more information like is it a safe diet and what is the average weekly loss?

    Any advice about this would be most welcome!
