GG Supreme briefcase

In the past I had LV. But I HATE the quality of the current LV canvas and legendary garbage customer service. I REALLY like the monogram eclipse, but LV doesn't make any usable briefcase with laptop slots that I can carry around for work and etc.

My question is what are people's thoughts on the GG Supreme briefcase. How long has it been out? What do people think of gucci's new canvas? I plan on using this as a daily driver. I assume gucci makes bags to be durable enough to be used daily. Function is most important for me, which LV no longer does well imo. What are your thoughts on Gucci? Also I am a dude in case that matters.

It seems like gucci is getting more popular with Millennials and they seem to be have a resurgence. Any comments would be appreciated.

I love all the GG designs and Gucci is a super hot brand right now...that said the GG supreme is a great looking briefcase in my opinion. My two cents however on that bag (the... I love it “but” lol....) is that for “me” (I am a small person) is that the shoulder strap is very wide and for “me” it although comfortable, sits badly on my shoulder. If the shoulder strap is comfortable for you then the bag is a super stylish and cool briefcase in my opinion!

Can you post pic? I don’t have briefcase but have several Gucci purses and have had them for years. I have a vintage large canvas black bag/work horse inherited that has lasted years. I also had an old canvas not supreme (fabric gg logo) that I wore to death but didn’t last. I am also a long time lv buyer and lv customer service is exceptional. LV is known for great service.

Never buy anything because it's 'hot' only buy because you can't live without it.

The Supreme canvas has been around a while and it seems very good (I have a pair of shoes with it).

Can't comment on current LV, the only piece I have left I inherited and is from the early 1980s.

Can you post pic? I don’t have briefcase but have several Gucci purses and have had them for years. I have a vintage large canvas black bag/work horse inherited that has lasted years. I also had an old canvas not supreme (fabric gg logo) that I wore to death but didn’t last. I am also a long time lv buyer and lv customer service is exceptional. LV is known for great service.

LV doesn't make any briefcases or messager bags w/ laptop slots in the monogram eclipse (to the best of my knowledge). The overnight is pretty close to what I want, but I want it in monogram eclipse.

The LV forum is FILLED with people complaining about poor customer service. I have had bad customer service experience too with their hot stamping. UGH!!! FCUK the rodeo drive location. Plus I get lots of attitude when I go shop at any LV store. I have not had any good experiences over the last 5 years, except when I wanted to build a custom trunk (I ended up not building one).

I am not buying gucci b/c it's popular. LOL. I like the black canvas design.

I just want a black messenger bag or briefcase that has a laptop slit. I would use it in the hospital, so I need something toned down.

It should fit me. I have the average american male build. They didn't have it in the store when I was last there.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you need to find a good SA to be treated right. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve been a forum member for over 12 years and been buying LV for longer than that. I have found customer service to be fabulous. Had one issue with wallet deemed deemed defective and given full credit to pick new one. Anyway, I had asked about photo of Gucci you were thinking of. I’ve been buying Gucci for a long time as well.
