GG Marmont camera or flap???

Why is there such a huge price difference between the Marmont camera bags and flaps ? I really like the mini dusty pink but it’s $1000 more than the camera version. I don’t get it ?!

Probably both because of costs as well as popularity. The flap bag is more popular, so they know they can mark it up higher.

But, the flap bag also probably costs more to produce. It has more complicated hardware (the flap closure instead of a zipper), a longer chain strap (potentially more expensive to produce), is larger (so more leather), and has a more complicated strap situation.

Popularity and versatility for sure. The same sized ones do have a $1,000 difference! The camera is more casual where as the flap can go both ways ... the flap is more classier I guess as it can be a shoulder bag
