What are your thoughts on the animal studs? Classic or trend? I know it’s a statement bag and some love or hate it. I’m on the fence about getting it now as my husband hates it but I’m in love! I did just buy the classic black medium and was debating about eventually getting a nude camera bag or white stud in the summer. But then saw this and now am confused! It’s also selling out in the USA so am thinking might be collectors? Or I could resell?

I love it. My husband trained as an entomologist for his first degree so his love for insects, and esp moths and butterflies, has rubbed off.
I love it! It screams classic to me but I think I would be afraid about how the hardware would hold up after a while, since I’m not too careful with my bags
It's an amazing bag. I was thinking about it too but my little Chanel is quite similar.
I think it's very Chanel Lucky Charms which looks really classic and funky at the same time. And I guess that's why Chanel also brought the second version of that bag

So interesting to read this. I too actually had gotten a Marmont flap bag, as I tend to prefer flaps and I immediately felt like something was "off". I dont know if it was because of how it doesnt have much structure, even though I tend to not go for bags with structure, but not a slouchy mess either and i texted a friend right away saying how "this doesnt feel like a bag over 2K!"
Did u return it? I’m going to return mine. It sold out on matches so some lucky person will grab it I’m sure. I’m thinking I should just look for a Chanel 2.55 as this was supposed to be a cheaper alternative. I think I’ll get the camera bag though in nude. That will probably be a nice alternative.
I am, they are picking it up today to send back. For that amount of money I need to LOVE the bag and I just didnt... I dont know why. I do like the camera bag style as well, my friend immediately suggested that style when I told her this one didn't work out for me.
I agree. I think if it was 1500 it would be more suitable. But when u compare with what u can get at lv or Givenchy or anywhere else, $2500 for it is outrageous. I doubt the quality will last as long as comparable bags.
Did you send yours back and get a camera bag? I know a few ladies who have the marmont flap and seem to love it, so to each their own, but I was a little surprised, I expected a lot more, especially for how many positive reviews I've heard!
Hi there! Yes I did! I found a nude camera bag and hopefully should arrive this week! I think it’s going to be more classic. Like the blogger chase Amie says. I like the flap but it really needs to be more structured. The camera bag is such a seventies classic that I think it will be much more versatile. I guess I have to resign to the fact I’m not going and wild anymore!
Now I’m covering the marmont fringe loafers! Have I seen them?
