Gena Rowlands passed away at the age of 94 from Alzheimer's.
She was an extraordinary actress. A Woman Under the Influence was one of many roles
she starred in. She was beautiful..
She was married to the extraordinary John Cassavetes

Alzheimer's is such an awful, horrendous disease. I pray that someday they will find a cure, or at least a permanent cure for not progressing any further. My husband died of early onset-Alzheimer's when he was only 58, and he was diagnosed at 52. It's just horrible—they say you lose them twice. That's definitely accurate.
