Gatsby loafers?

Hi guys!

Anyone has tried or purchased these Gatsby loafers? I love the style but not sure the ‘flap’ (as circled) will dig into my legs. Would be great to know some reviews.

I haven't worn them, but from the picture, they look like they stand away from the leg quite a bit. I would actually be more concerned that over time, that shiny patent leather might show creases in that flap and across the top of the shoe, created while walking. Are you near anywhere that sells them so you can see how/if they crease and if it bothers you if they do? If you can't try them before buying, do they have a good return policy?

Not available in my home store yet and usually stock is so limited. So would love to hear some reviews before I ask SA to reserve a pair when they are available.
