and, as a bonus, in the fall the chickadees love the seeds of the black-eyed susans!!

Love the photos, OP! The hydrangeas are my favorite. My neighbors used to have purple and blue hydrangea bushes and whenever they were in full bloom, I was very tempted to go pluck some flowers ... Fortunately, I remembered the manners my mama taught me. Anyway, thus sprung my love for hydrangeas.

lantana is one of the reasons i am sad i live too far north!

^thanks! I love this bush the most because it started from a seedling from my grandma's garden (as did about half of my garden). also, it keeps the mocking birds happy & singing & close by my house.

lantana is one of the reasons i am sad i live too far north!

^awwww...I'd trade all of my lantana for your hydrangeas & peonies!!!
