Gap vs Asos: PS1 Substitute

Hi everyone! I have been searching for a PS1 substitute, since the PS1 is a bit above my budget. I found these two online, but can't decide which one I like better. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated . (Please excuse my poor photography)

I like the first one better. Can't pinpoint why, is just my first impression

I'd probably choose the gap one, but I don't know how I feel about the suede.

I like the first one as well -- is that Gap?
The shape of the second one throws off the look of the bag too much - it looks too much like a book bag or briefcase. The straps are also too long - I could see them starting to curl pretty fast

Thanks for all your input ladies! iluv- the first one is the Gap (sorry I forgot to label them) and that is a really good point about the curling. After all your input I think I'll stick with the grey GAP one. Plus I tend to be a neutral bag girl, so I'll probably be much happier with grey in the long run .

alouette- I think it was normally around $190 dollars, but I waited for one of GAP's daily sales so it was only 140. It seems well-made for the price point.
