Fur/Mink Question

Fur should be stored in warmer months anyway so you should take it to a furrier to store and they will tell you what it is and what kind of condition it is in.

Well, if you wish to ID the fur then I guess post a pic of the coat up and we shall attempt a guess. Older furs are definitely heavier though. The modern fur is much much lighter and sheared even more so. You can actually get them re-styled if you wish at various furriers.

What an odd (but nice) way to acquire a coat!
