I was at a workshop on Friday and the instructor was talking about assessing value and wise decision-making and she made this statement "For example. you might see a beautiful Coach bag and immediately think that it is the most gorgeous purse that you've ever seen - but then you take a look at the price and it costs $500! So you immediately put it back down rather than spend so much money on a mere purse!"
I was sitting in front and when she made that statement, so I gave her a little smile and reached over to stroke my Oxblood Prairie Rivets Rogue that was sitting next to me. She looked startled and immediately started back-peddling and began saying things like "Or maybe you would spend that much on a purse! If you could afford it and felt that it was worth the money! It's all about making a wise decision."
Poor thing! There is nothing wise or sensible about having a purse addiction!
