I bought a jewelry tree recently, and have been having fun arranging all my jewelry:

Then I started taking pictures in groups... Here's the jewelry I never take off (except for this pic, heh)

More!

Long cascade earrings:

Shorter cascades:

I tend to make a lot of the same styles, just different colors... Simple drop earrings:

More pendants. (I didn't make the one on the far left, but it did inspire the smaller circles.)

A layered necklace. Actually have made this in a couple of different color mixes:

I love that tree!!
Did you get it from redenvelope.com as well? :)

Yes, redenvelope.com. It was back-ordered, but worth the wait!

I didn't like the bright nickel finish, though -- probably looks great with white metals, but not enough contrast with yellow gold -- so I used pewter metal leaf paint, then a spray acrylic sealer to prevent flaking. I'm really pleased with the way it came out, as you can see from the close-up pics, it does actually look like metal, not paint. Very important to use metal leaf, not metallic paint...

The tree is fun for someone who likes to enjoy looking at their jewelry! What a great idea.
Oh, totally, I just stare at it! And what's great is that I'm wearing things I hadn't been wearing -- I had fallen into wearing the same earrings/pendants every day because I couldn't see everything when it was in my jewelry box.

You've done a good job.. I actually went back to see if they had a different color haha.. You're right though.. I have equal amounts of yellow gold and silver/white gold pieces so it doesn't look too bad!
