Full length or capri black leggings with black ballet flats?

I bought the cutest blue shirt that would look best with black leggings. Do you wear full length or capri leggings with a long top and ballet flats? For some reason, I always think that capri leggings look best with open-toe sandals, but I'm not sure. Any advice?

I usually only wear the full length ones under ankle boots or something. With flats I wear the shorter ones.

I'm leaning towards full length with the flats...and that's mostly because I'm kind of over the shorter leggings...

Thanks for your replies so far! I've seen more people in the shorter ones, but it seems like the long leggings are more in style now. I guess I'll just have to try them on to decide.

I don't like the shorter ones because they always hit people at the biggest part of the calf, which makes their legs look stumpy. I like the longer ones, personally.

I only wear cropped leggings. They're more youthful than ankle length, IMO. Plus, I like my ankles.
