Had to share my frustrations... Thanks for listening in advance!! :smash:

I ordered a diamond Swiss Army watch for myself, on sale, and it arrived today. Not running. I'm assuming it's the battery, but who knows, right? I talked to a customer service rep online who told me I needed to bring it in and someone in store would take a look at it. He then proceeded to tell me it may need to be shipped back to the manufacturer. Or if it's simply the battery, I would have to pay for a new one!! I'm peeved and disappointed as I've waited five months for one of these watches to go on sale there. Of course, it's no longer available online or in stores so I would only be able to get a refund, no exchange. Anyway... pity party or rant or whatever it was is over.

Thanks, gals.

The battery should be working when you receive the watch, therefore, you shouldn't have to pay to replace the battery on a brand new watch. I would ask to speak to a supervisor when you go to Nordstrom and show them the receipt - that you just received the watch with a non-working battery. I'm sure that the supervisor will be able to help you!!!!

Thanks, everyone. I stopped by Nordstrom today and the SA I spoke with there found 2 other available watches in the system to exchange mine with. Yea! So, I'm getting a new watch shipped out to me next week. :D I'm not sure what was up with the online rep... :weird: I'm happy I went in today, instead of waiting until the middle of next week like I was originally planning.

Glad it is working out. Nordstrom will also replace the first battery that needs replacement free. I've never had a problem. Sorry you have a bad rep to deal with the first time. They are usually great about stuff.
