Shall i go with
Pave for the extra bling. And at the price point less likely to bump into a same ring with other people.

Or mirror to match the earring?
Concerned to bump into other people wearing the same ring due to a lower price point. In a vca populated environment.

I feel that if you can afford it, go for the diamonds. The sparkle that you see on your fingers is a sight to see! And because it's on your fingers you can see it every time you wear it!

I agree with @DreamingBeauty . All of my pave rings (not VCA but same concept) show very little wear and scratches. My solid gold rings are much more worn in comparison. (not that I mind, it's something I know that would happen anyway.)

The only caveat may be that depending on your daily tasks, it can be abrasive when it comes into contact with skin or clothes. I've definitely accidentally scratched my husband a few times with my diamonds. And my diamonds occasionally snag and get a bit of clothing fibers or fluff. (not saying that the diamonds or the prong settings are rough themselves, depends on the action itself and how hard it hits against something.)
But then again, I'm not the most careful with my jewelry. :P

I’ve seen and tried the pave and love love it!
On the other hand, if you are one of those people that’s super careful with your jewelry and you already own the large mirrored, go for the mirrored ring. It is stunning, if you are careful and it won’t bump things (although I believe the shiny surface won’t scratch easily because it is concave), the parts that won’t be seen alas easily as the band or underside are more likely to scratch or the edges, which you can polish once in a long while.

My SA made me try on the pave version once and I almost shed a tear, so pave get my vote! I also love that because they have to accommodate the diamond settings, the petals look thicker and juicier than the mirror version. Since the pave ring is in the same metal color as your earrings they'll still look like a cohesive set
