I was using auctiva a while ago but now that it's not free I haven't used them.

Does anyone know what i can use so i dont have to pay to host images for my auctions? I dont want to pay ebays fees for pics

i tried to do a search and im sure this has been answered but Im not finding anything

Ebay needs the html codes. If you select your photos (click the box below each photo, or click Select All), then click the Generate HTML and IMG Code button, you will get several results. Use either of the ones that say Ebay. One will just display your photos full size, and the other will provide clickable thumbnails.

I usually use this HTML code for images:

<img src = " URL OF IMAGE" >

But without the spaces. lol on the codes they give you, they have one that just gives you the URL. Use that for the above code. :smile:

Just put the codes in the actual listing.
Photobucket and Imageshack provides the codes- so all you will need to do is copy and paste them in the listing.

i just posted a auction and copy & pasted the codes but they arent showing up they are showing the entire html codes for each photo

what do i do ????
i have an auction up with no photos

You need to switch your description box over the HTML.

Before putting your description in, look at the top left part of the description box. Do you see a link that says HTML? Click it. Then paste your IMG codes in the box.

Then go back to the top left and click on the link that now says standard. You should see the photos show up and you can now type in your details normally.
