Franchise store locations shutting down?

Vienna, Austria, used to be a franchise store and think still is. Also, Stuttgart, Germany, was a franchise but was/is shut down with a Hermès-owned boutique opening soon (think this month). If I recall correctly, Spain also has some franchise stores left. I also remember Lucerne, Switzerland, was a franchise but closed down by Hermès 2 years ago. I would expect Hermès to own all their stores and close down the smaller ones a couple of years from now.
Kampen, Sylt, Germany, is franchised and will be shut down shortly.
The owner is this locally famous old lady and I have no doubt that, the day she dies, H will write her family a big check and take over the store.
She used to own another luxury store down the street but I heard that one is finally closed.
The one in Stockholm is franchise but my SA said it is closing at new year and that Hermes is opening their own store in the spring.
Thank you for that information I am planning a trip to Stockholm and Gothenburg next year . Are you from Sweden ?
