FP Swagger vs. Factory Swagger

Hello everyone!

I am by no means familiar with purchasing Coach, especially from the online outlet which I never even knew was a thing!

That being said, I ordered a gift for a relative. It was in the Coach Reserve section of the website, so I believe that means it's full price? The style number is 87295. It's the Swagger 27 in black with gold hardware. This is the one that I ordered.

However, they also have a Swagger 27 in black with gold hardware with a different style number: F87295.

Is there a difference between the two? Is one a MFF version and the other a FP version? And if anyone knows the difference between the two, are there any?

I don't think swagger was ever made for outlet. You will be able to tell if is was MFF if there is a F after the dash on (depending when made) the storypatch or the white tag in the lower left corner of the inner zip pocket.
F87295 and 87295 are the same style number, only difference is when a bag is sent to outlet the F is usually added to the style number on the tag and in the listing to differentiate it in the system as being sold through outlet.

Okay, thank you! I wasn’t sure. I know some brands like Michael Kors will make outlet-specific replicas of their own full-price line, like the Hamilton bag (outlet had a plaque where the full-price had a lock) and I didn’t know if Coach did the same. Thank you!

And I appreciate the advice on looking at the story patch. I guess I will find out when my order arrives!!

I think you should be ok per what Holiday123 said. They never made a MFF Swagger per se but they made a MFF swagger-inspired bag called the Blake Carryall. They look kinda similar with the exception of the metal plate in the middle and some minor differences. I have never seen a Blake in person so I don’t know if they were similar in quality.

Coach definitely makes outlet-specific replicas, but I don't believe they did that with Swagger, I could be wrong so the best way to tell will be to look at the storypatch when it arrives.

They did with the Blake that is shown farther above, but it looks a little different than the normal one.

I should have worded better...I was more speaking of how they F-creed FP bags (nomads, drifters, phoebe, rogue totes, minetta, etc) vs. making a bag similar to a FP like blake, hallie, abby etc.

Hi, I bought a 21" swagger bag and it has the F is that factory made or outlet made? I want to buy the 27" but I want to get the right one. I thought F was factory, am I wrong??
