I'm having a hell of a time deciding what to get. I'm torn between the Fount Atlas or something from Rough & Tumble, probably one of their custom hoop hobos or maybe a 1903 pack. I'm a little worried the R&T might be too slouchy. I know they are COMPLETELY not comparable bag-wise! Argh.

I am not familiar with the style of the Fount you want but I have two of their bags and the quality is fantastic. I don’t know much about the other brand so I cannot help you there. Here is are pictures of my two. Good luck deciding.

Oh, that bucket is amazing! I was thinking of one of those, but then I got a vintage Coach bucket to tide me over.

I'm so jealous you've seen one in person! It's a leap of faith to spend that much on something you've never seen.

The Fount store is my Mecca. Seriously, it’s a slice of heaven. I’m a Clevelander and have been a fan of Fount since they started selling their wares at the Cleveland Flea. I love thick, durable leather and Fount does not disappoint. They say their bags are heirloom quality - and I have to agree. Their customer service is also amazing.
