With what I've read on TPF about Fount leather, I'm considering adding a Fount bag to my wishlist. Wondering about the difference in the Peppercorn, Dark, and Raven colors. Which is a true black?
Fount leather colors - help please

Peppercorn is black. Not a jet black, but a nice black. The leather is slightly structured but soft and supple.
Dark - I believe that dark is peppercorn, but with black straps instead of the normal contrasting brown straps. So the two different totes (Bellfield and Atlas) are available in the “dark” color way.
Raven - is the color of the black Banjo bag. The leather on the Banjo bag is stiff and structured - still gorgeous though.
I have the Arlington Shoulder Bag in Peppercorn. It’s a beautiful bag.
(I also have the Bellfield Tote in Hazelnut, the Coventry Bucket Bag in Wolf and several of the Finley’s - in Goldenrod, Sage and Cocoa. Sigh. [emoji51])

Indiaink, I think remember you from Linea Pelle’s glory days. Remember how amazing their leather was? Fount’s is better. I’m local to Fount and have been to their flagship store many times. The owners are amazing, make their bags by hand in Cleveland, Ohio and pay their workers a living wage. Let us know what you think when you get your Finley.
Yes, I was a big fan of that original LP yummy leather, great memory! You are lucky to live near a place like Fount's, just not your wallet...
My bag arrived! I can easily see why everyone goes on about this leather! 
And the solid brass hardware is exceptional! Love how the simple design lets the quality leather and brass hardware really shine and be the focus. They deserve to be! Have I mentioned that I LOVE that leather?
