I had never really owned more than 3-4 bags at a time before buying my first Coach in the fall of 2016. I fell in love, and ended up building up a pretty sizable (by my standards) collection over the next 15 months.
Now that I have a better sense of exactly what my preferences are, I have a couple of bags that I'm really not fond of, although they are still in like new condition. I'm not someone who likes to sell things (too much trouble unless it's really a valuable item); I usually just donate clothing and household items to Value Village.
I did some digging and found Dress for Success; it's an organization that helps women by providing professional clothing and accessories for job interviews and jobs. There may be a variety of organizations like this, but this one is close enough to be convenient.
I'm doing some selective pruning (I have 2-3 leather briefcases that are no longer my style, as well as a couple of bags I don't care to keep) and will drop my items off on Tuesday. I'm happy to free up some storage space, and have it go to a good cause at the same time.
