Found my holy grail bag but.....

So after searching on and off since 2006 I have found my HG bag....however the plated closure on the front is flaking off!

The asking price is $2000, although I love it and really want it I just can't bring myself to pay so much for something that is that defective. I wouldn't mind a bit of scuffing or scratching but it is really noticeable.

Is it possible to get things replated by LV? Or if not has anyone had something sucessfully replated elsewhere?

I think you're right tbh...the more I look at it the more the velour and trim looks worn aswell! such a shame as its the MM size which barely EVER comes up in this colour or the green, I only ever find the red which I don't like!

That is a unique find but yeah it looks well used. Hopefully a better condition one will pop up!

Not sure, but from the pic it looks like the one I have been drooling over on BBOS Private Sale. The one there is in perfect condition, if it's the same style.

Ok, yes, it's the same. I see where you found your's. I saw it pop up there the other day. So the BBOS one is a bit more, but looks to be beautifully preserved!

Hi thanks for the heads up but I saw that BBOS one already, even considered getting it but it's a PM, its too small I really want the MM size. The PM pops up now and again but the MM almost never...except in red which I don't like! I want either black or the beautiful dark emerald green.
