former Bond girl Tanya Roberts reported dead, then not dead

Strange story. Can't say I really remember her but the name is familiar.

Former Bond Girl and That 70s Show star Tanya Roberts is not dead at 65, contrary to recent claims made by her rep. Roberts’ spoStkesperson, Mike Pingel, told TMZ Monday that Roberts is still alive, despite releasing a press release on Sunday that she had died. The press release even included a quote from Roberts’ husband, Lance O’Brien, stating, “as I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes.” Pingel told TMZ that O’Brien “truly believed Tanya had died.”

Oh that is really bizarre. I wonder why her husband reported it if it didn’t actually happen. I mean, wouldn’t you ask hospital personnel to confirm it if you thought your wife died?

She mustn’t be in very good shape. I remember her from That 70s Show. She played Donna’s mother.

Okay, maybe I’ll be the first to go full-on conspiracy theorist and say something doesn’t smell right with the boyfriend. He was told she was alive in the middle of an interview!

He’s kind of creepy looking and it’s unfair to judge him by that, but you’d think a woman who looked as beautiful as Tanya did could do better.

"4:25 PM PT -- We just spoke with Lance, Tanya's long-term partner. He tells us he went to the hospital Sunday after getting a call from doctors saying Tanya was fading fast, and it was going to end in her death.

He went to the hospital, and as he sat in her room she opened her eyes and tried to grab on to him, but her eyes closed and she "faded."

He said he was devastated and walked out of the room and then the hospital and never spoke with medical staff.

3:34 PM PT -- Tanya's rep, Mike Pingel, tells TMZ ... her domestic partner, Lance, was at the hospital Sunday when he saw Tanya's eyes close. For some reason, he says he thought she was dead so he left devastated.

What's unclear ... why did Lance think she was dead as opposed to just sleeping? Pingel does not know if Lance spoke to any medical staff before leaving and Lance isn't answering his phone now for clarification.

Pingel did tell us, he picked Lance up from the hospital and he said, "She died in my arms."

Tanya Roberts' death has been greatly exaggerated, because her rep now says she's alive, despite the rep not only telling TMZ she died, but sending out a press release with that information.

TMZ reported Sunday Tanya had died after collapsing at her home on Christmas Eve and being rushed to the hospital and placed on a ventilator."

...so the guy leaves, doesn't tell anybody at the hospital and leaves the hospital? Sorry, too weird.

wouldn't any caring partner (or anyone really) make determination by pulse, breathing, etc. rather than assuming she closed her eyes so she was dead? is this guy low IQ?

Exactly. I wonder if he was thinking he could make some bucks by blabbing to the highest bidder "exclusive" as soon as he left the hospital. Because it's just too weird. And low IQ.

I needed something to fill the void left from the Hillary Baldwin story dying down. I’m going with he wants whatever is left of her money and he wanted the attention of being her bereaved. I hope the hospital does not allow him to visit her unsupervised again.

Inside Edition was interviewing him when the hospital called to say she was still alive.

WHAT!!!! he makes my red flag wave! i think he could not wait to tell everyone she was dead for attention and sympathy. makes my skin crawl! i wonder who at the hospital was watching the show when they decided to give him a call!!
