I feel the scars on Uptight Righty may be more acceptable than the now Loosey Lefty, so the scales are tipping again. I'm sooooo bummed!

I'm bummed too! Just goes to show how easy it is to miss these little details. I didn't notice the busted stitch on the Chamois I returned right away; I actually caught it when looking at my own pictures! I was like, "What is that thing sticking up on the pocket?", then went over to the bag and noticed the popped stitch.
Blu, your descriptions are killer! I love Uptight Righty too, so if you think you can live with her differences then by all means keep her. However, you also have the option of waiting until the Fall shipments of bags arrive into the stores and trying again. Not what you want to hear after sending Whiskey back... but it's an option.

I really hate it when that happens. Definitely the non-defective bag is the choice, but that's too bad why it became the choice.

Gee, I think that phrase was coined here on PF (reminder: need to search for proper credit!) to describe the wrinkles, rumples, and general scrunch-nicity of individual Ediths! We need to draft a 1-5 rating scale. 
I've noticed a trend in the differences - they are using all types of leathers, but to create an aesthetically pleasing bag they will mix pebbles with a smooth pocket, or smooth leathers with pebbly accents pieces, for ince. So to each her own, and to each the search that never ends! Oh, to be a Muse! Oh, and depending on the leathers, some scrumples pull out after some use, leaving you with a Chucky! (see PF dict)roey, I DO need to investigate the broken stitch more. It's in a spot where it's likely to happen regardless - you're right. And it doesn't seem too prone to unraveling there or be too noticeable... since I'm on the search for the perfect chocolate shoulder bag, testing choco Edith was definitely a stray from my mission, but DANG, she's a pretty gal anyway!

Oh dear. I just saw this and had to weigh in to agree that you should probably keep waiting to see if you can find another. I've gone through the exact same thing and even though it's a total pain, if you keep the one on the right, you'll always remember how much prettier the scrumply left one was AND if you keep the one on the left, you'll be paranoid of that stitch all the time, especially since it's on the bottom.
Try to find another one if possible - they're out there. The texture really seems to make a difference in Edith's appeal since she's such a simple bag overall. Sorry you have to go through this though!!

Quick update: Went to put Loosey Lefty in its dustbag (which came packed on TOP of the bag, not inside Edith, or with Edith inside the sleeper - which I thought was bizarre) - AND IT'S A PADDY SLEEPER! Man, NM just does NOT check their mdse when returned!
Anyway, to make matters worse, I received what could be the PERFECT brown shoulder bag, which makes choco Edith less justifiable for me.... below is Jimmy Choo Rasia - Ramona's lil' sis. This is going to be a tough weekend thinking this out!

Blu, I think one of my Ediths arrived with a Paddy dustbag too. Whatever the case, it was too small. I sent that one back to NM with my first Whiskey.
I ordered that same Rasia bag last year but returned it. Have you seen the Ricki? Same bag but with two rows of grommets which really make a difference in its appearance. If you love Rasia how she is, still a great bag. Tough decision!
I have a new chocolate arrival too. I ordered another Bulga bag after seeing one at Barney's with the most scrumptious leather I have even felt in my LIFE. Dare I say, better than my Ramona. I am thrilled with my cheap purchase and feel like one chocolate bag is enough for my wardrobe. I will miss choco Edith terribly though. I wonder if Roey could take down her avatar so we won't be painfully reminded? :cry:

Both Ediths look nice, Blu!! I like the Jimmy Choo, too. Oh what a decision you have to make!!! I can relate.....I went through 6 Dior Gaucho bags before I found my perfect one.
