I was recently helping my sister's bf look for an engagement ring and someone had recommended I check out this jewelrer in Chicago's diamond district. I had heard great things about her and her husband who is diamond wholesaler...Her showroom was like a candystore! She had a ton of stuff, all reasonably priced. She had a tons of Cathy Waterman-esque rings and Ippolita-like bangles at a fraction of the price...For example, she had a bangle that looked exactly like the superstar ippolita bangle (http://www.ippolita.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=31_34_39&products_id=128&page=1&sort=0a) for $1500! I would highly recommend visiting her if you are in Chicago (www.erhlooms.com, ask for Tammy). If you are out of town, she oftens does shows and she can also send you pictures of whatever you like...
