This is an interesting one. I'm not in east coast, so I can't try it on, but I figured some of you might be able to try it

2009 NYC restaurant week has been extended until Feb 27. Lots of top places are part of it.

There are other restaurants doing the "pay what you want" deal - Mara's Homemade in the East Village is doing it, also.

how far does that go? how do they keep people from coming in and paying $1? I have some pretty poor friends in the city!!
on the other hand, I think I'll actually go to Nobu for restaurant week!
