For ladies who own both VCA Frivole Pave BTF ring and a Cartier Panthere watch

Hello Ladies,

For those of you who own both, which do you love most? I know that is a personal question but I am trying to make up my mind on which piece to get for a milestone occasion. I own some lovely Frivole pave pieces from VCA (no rings from VCA) and also some beautiful watches (none Cartier). Both pieces are gorgeous to me and make my heart sing. Every time I try them on, at the boutique, I get so happy! And none are for purpose of 'need' - those two items have been on my bucket list for a while and this is the perfect opportunity for me to purchase one. I am not using the logic of 'since I have no VCA rings...' because I want to get something that I love all practicality aside.

I know that the Frivole pave BTF ring is bold and holds a lot of bling for everyday wear. However, I humbly feel that I've earned the privilege to wear some serious bling elegantly. At this point in my life, I am looking to add more stand alone pieces that I can wear gracefully.

The panthere is just that timeless and classic watch that is the forever piece. Well, so is the ring I believe.

Would anyone like to please chime in and talk this through with me? You can only pick one Thanks!

I own the pave Frivole BTF ring in RG but not the panthere watch although I have considered adding it on and off for a few years now but Rolex watches always win for me in the end. Since you don’t own any rings from VCA and already have some pave Frivole pieces, my vote would be to add the Frivole pave BTF ring first and if in a few years down the line, you feel that you absolutely can’t get the panthere watch out of mind and if your budget allows it at the time, maybe consider adding it then? I agree that both pieces are classic but there’s something about VCA rings that is just irresistible, at least for me! And since you already own other watches, imagine the beautiful pairing of the Frivole pave BTF ring and the watches not to mention the ring and the pave Frivole pieces already in your collection!

Actually, it was your mod pics of your RG Frivole BTF ring that initially made me take a closer look at the ring. You always post such beautiful photos of you wearing it and you wear that ring so gorgeously! Ever since I got my Frivole pave/pink sapphire earrings and pendant, I thought it would be lovely to also get a RG Frivole BTF ring to match or just to wear on its own (or with my cluster Frivole earrings -the one with 3 flowers).
I went in to the boutique one day and tried one on and it was love at first sight! I do think it's a little big for my small hands but it is such a stunning piece. It's like no other! Then I realized why so many ladies love it. Sometimes you try it on after all the hype and it's not as fabulous as described or imagined. But this one, upon trying in IRL exceeded all my expectations. It has so much bling but also has a softness about it. It is definitely at the top of my WL for this year as is the watch! Ack! You are certain, it really is a lovely dilemma and I feel blessed. You've made great and helpful points so thank you! I am smiling just thinking about the ring

I agree with what @eternallove4bag has stated. I just wanted to add that you may want to consider ordering the rose gold with pink sapphire ring to match your pendant and earrings. I know it exists but it would be a special order. Since you have the other two pieces you may have a better chance of getting approved. It’s breath taking. The normal RG is stunning but the pink sapphire version of the pave btf ring is heart stopping! I think the ring will complete a full set and would be a beautiful addition.

Sorry, I don't have any VCA but I have the Panthere (as you've seen my posts on your other threads I'm sure).

For luxury fine jewelry, all I can say, is that you have to fall head over heels for it. Not just because it is fine jewelry, but also because it's so darn expensive haha. We know that we are paying premium prices and it's mostly for the brand and design so we got to love it 1000% to be willing to pay those prices.

Choose the one that makes your heart sing! Good luck! (Request for eyecandy photos when you make the purchase!)

This was my love at first sight piece too.
As @eternallove4bag pointed out, that you already have other beautiful watches, better to add the frivole BTF ring, to wear it alone, or go with either your pave earrings or the 3 flower earrings or pendant, you can create lots of combinations.
