My Florentine barrel bag has arrived. It’s a keeper. Mr iPhone 15 pro max is a tight fit in the back zipper pocket. sigh so I going to fight it until it fits. My barrel has a little texture but THe leather is soft and lux and the sides are smooth. So far I’m happy with my first barrel. The opening is great. I can see everyrhing and not scratch my hands when going in an out of this barrel bag. I’m glad I chose the black black. The back zipper pull is not braided… sigh the main zipper had a long thin tassel pull wuith signature green suede underneath. No green suede inside the bag. Also the red cotton inside is kinda crisp. Glad your new Flo Barrel Satchel is a winner. I love black Florentine leather.
I may have to buy a Flo Barrel Satchel too.

We should all get an extra discount from Dooney/ILD for all the
enabling we do here and the purchases that result. 😁
Since that won't happen, we will have to be satisfied with helping

Yes! We are the best salespeople Dooney could ever ask for, aren't we?!? I can't wait for this bag. Love Florentine, love satchels, and for under $150, I'm just giddy!

I have a real love hate relationship with this bag. I dislike it and reach for it often…. What do you make of that? Florentine small Sloan in the color Bordeaux and I unwrapped the long wallet and coin case thst matches I got last year during the 12 days of dooney. My first time using a dooney long wallet…. I’ll see how I like it. I can’t stay away from this small Sloan. I would hate to see the si of the regular Sloan… geez. It’s the north dough thst I don’t like about this bsg but I’ve got some things THST fit so wonderfully in this bag like mt headphones, and iPad. Fit great in this bsg…. And the pretty color says Christmas to me . Slim enough tobwork for me and still holds s old amount without being too heavy . I caint wait to I open thst DBI BOX 7NDER THE TREE….

I can understand your frustrations with a north south handbag that is soft and 'smooshy'.
It's beautiful and holds a lot. But sometimes finding things inside, especially if you have
to do it while on the move, can be challenging. The lack of structure of the bag and the
fact that it's so deep, makes it harder to see inside. But oh, that color and leather
are stunning.

You are showing a lot of restraint, placing D&B boxes under the tree and waiting to
dive into them. Just think of how much fun it will be tossing all that wrapping and
tissue paper aside to get at your treasures.

Bi find myself consantlthinking about this small Sloan. The leather is AWESOME!and I’m trying not to fill it up. Just because it holds a lot I’m psckinb it as we speak with minimal items I need , no think I will need. Hand sanitizer, tissues wallet glasses case,phone charger Mints. Masks mirror, lippy. That’s enough to put in the small Sloani do have a lack mini. Florentine satchel coming. I’ll move right into it. I love the mini Florentine satchel. I’ve gotten black Florentine SLGs to go with my new mini. Bye bye Sloan when my mini gets here!
