Flashback: Marc Jacobs for Target

I saw the pouch article today on Purseblog. And it reminded me of my first designer pouch - the MJ for Target/Neimans!

Do you remember this collection?

Anyway I remember seeing this pouch and feeling like $70 was just way out of my budget and I had no need for it. And that collection bombed, and my rose gold pouch went on clearance for $20. And I still have it. I use it in tote bags or my carry on or even my backpack when needed. It looks a little distressed now, but it is still fun!

That pouch looks great! Clearly a well-loved item. For $20, that's basically a steal.

I love pouches. Not only they help keep the items organized inside handbags, but they also add some character and fun. I usually wear neutral/black bags, but love to add fun wallets and pouches to brighten up the interior.

Hey jade! I remember that style. I have two that i snagged on clearance, too. The rose gold and the gunmetal grey. I haven't really been keeping up with the latest MJ styles, but TBH, I feel like these Target ones look better than the newer styles I've been seeing at Nordstrom Rack.

I still have my rosegold pouch too! Still looks good to this day.
